Fat Loss Percentage Calculator
Why is the percentage of body fat calculators online tells me I am obese when I'm not?
I just had a baby less than four months and now I'm looking to lose ten pounds or gained during pregnancy. I thought the best way to keep track of my weight loss would be to trace my steps and percentage of body fat over time. However, when I put in all, I insist calculators 32-33% body fat, I'm obese and need to lose 45 pounds (the I tried at least ten different.) Honestly, I was looking to lose 10-20 max. If I'm forty-five, weighing about 90 pounds. I know I'm a little short (5'3) but I still consider myself a relatively healthy – like my doctors. So why do these calculators keep saying I'm overweight? Someone has a board for me? Thanks guys!
Well, I would not trust some online calculator for beginners. The only reliable methods are DEXA hydrosatic weight or clamp tests using multiple sites. But even if you have the opportunity to have the contents of 33% body fat at 135 pounds, this does not mean you have to lose 45 pounds! Women should be in the region of 21% -31% body fat. With 90 pounds lean body mass, then your ideal weight would be approximately £ 115 £ 130 -. Hope this helps.
